How do I participate in an ICO with BRD?

 

BRD makes participating in ICOs easier and more secure.  Just click on the Checkout with BRD button on our ICO partners' sites and follow the steps below:

Registration

  1. Select your country and click Signup.
  2. Enter your personal information on the next page and click on Continue.
  3. Verify your email address.
    • Enter your email address and then tap Send Code
    • Check your inbox for an email from BRD and enter the code on the Verify Email page.
    • Click on Continue.
  4. Verify your phone number.
    • Enter your phone number and then tap Send Code
    • Enter the code you received via SMS on the Verify Phone page.
    • Click on Continue.
  5. Upload a picture of your ID and click Submit.
    • If using a computer, you can drag and drop a picture of your ID in the box provided, or follow the next step if you need to take a picture of your ID.
    • You can also take a picture of your ID using your mobile phone by tapping the Send a Link option on the Upload ID page. Just enter your phone number and tap on Send Link.

 

Link your BRD app

Linking your BRD app provides security and ensures that you only send your investment to the correct address. Before proceeding to the next steps, please make sure you have downloaded the latest version of the BRD app.

If you registered using a computer:

  1. On the BRD Secure Checkout page, enter your phone number.
  2. Click Send Code.
  3. You will receive an SMS with a link that opens your BRD app's QR Code scanner. Scan the QR code on the BRD Secure Checkout page.
  4. On your phone, you will see a page where you will be shown a list of what linking your BRD app does. Click on Approve if you agree.
  5. On the website, click Agree & Apply if you allow BRD to submit your name, address, phone number and email to the company holding the ICO for verification.

If you registered using an Android or iOS mobile device:

  1. On the BRD Secure Checkout page, tap Authenticate.
  2. Below the QR code, tap Have BRD installed on this device.
  3. On your phone, you will see a list of what linking your BRD app does. Click on Approve if you agree.
  4. On the website, click Agree & Apply if you allow BRD to submit your name, address, phone number and email to the company holding the ICO for verification.

Verification takes up to 24 hours to complete.  Once verified, you will be eligible to purchase tokens.

 

Buying Tokens

If you register before the token sale, you will see a countdown timer so you know when you can start buying tokens. Once the token sale has started, you can buy tokens by following these steps:

  1. Tap the Buy option on the BRD Secure Checkout page.
  2. Enter the amount you would like to buy.  You specify how much ETH you want to use or how many tokens you'd like to buy. Tap on the Buy button after.
  3. Launch the BRD app and open the notification asking you to confirm your investment. Tap on Buy in the app to send your funds.
